Feels like Oanda is the best all around for beginners + it has nice integration with tradingview. I just made and funded account, but wasn’t sure what I should be doing with my options to pay commissions and get tighter spreads or to do the other option. Thanks, Tom.

Jordan could you reply specially to Tmoney’s question on the tighter spreads v zero commission etc?. I’m going with Oanda and would like to make sure I set up correctly. Thanks

I think Oanda is an outstanding choice especially for ease of use (placing one order and exiting in pieces) along with trading in Units compared to Lots. Also Oanda has an excellent reputation. Lowest cost of doing business is always an edge you want in your favor. At the same time focus on pips more than spreads, costs and swap because that is where the money is made or lost.

Not sure at this point but will think on this later

I tried to create a demo account on FX choice today , 10/16/20, and they are no longer allowing US citizens to use the brokerage.

Yes, I received notification and confirmed with their live help myself.
I will update accordingly with info on Oanda FX Trade.

Hi Jordan,
I learned about FX Choice from you about 6 months ago. I opened a simulated account and have really liked them. I didn’t hear anything about their cutting off US Citizens. Do you know if they are dropping all US-based traders or just not taking on new US-based Traders? Thanks.
Jordan Lindsey
FX Choice is no longer accepting new US clients. I would check with support if you have an existing account if you are clear otherwise I would not move ahead as there could be problems later on.
